BELGRADE, Nov 29 (Reuters) - U.S.-based wire and cable maker
Superior Essex opened a 30 million euro ($34.18 million) plant
on Thursday in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina.
* The company plans to hire 160 employees, Vojvodina's
provincial government said in a statement.
* Serbia's government invested 1.6 million euros in the
plant.
* Superior Essex, a subsidiary of South Korea's LS Group, is
the largest global manufacturer of magnet and winding wire.
