U.S. stock index futures edged higher on Wednesday as hopes of an economic
recovery in China lifted sentiment, while focus was also on minutes from the
Federal Reserve's December policy meeting for clues on the outlook for interest
rate hikes.  .N 
    At 7:03 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.26% at 33,364. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.33% at 3,858.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up
0.50% at 11,000.75.
