Enochian falls after internal review finds altered, falsified data sets

** Shares of gene therapy developer Enochian BioSciences Inc
 ENOB.O  down 4.7% at $1.84 after the bell 
    ** Co says it conducted an internal review of primary data
from its HIV and cancer pipelines  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nGNE7cNvB7 
    ** The review found two sets of animal data, generated by
third-party researchers, were altered before ENOB's scientists
could review - co 
    ** One altered data set was for an inhaled COVID-19
treatment while the other was for an Hepatitis B virus therapy -
ENOB 
    ** Says will evaluate internal methods of review and
verification of external scientific data and modify as
appropriate
    ** As of last close, ENOB down 73.5% YTD
