 ** LYB's Olefins & Polyolefins-Americas unit reported adjusted core profit of $164 million, down from $496 million last year

** LYB targets $1.3 billion in cost savings by 2026 as it continues to keep a tight lid on costs amid volatility in feedstock and energy prices

** Co expects to generate additional $500 million in cash flow this year
