Metals Acquisition rises on $1.1 bln deal for Glencore's CSA copper mine

** Shares of blank-check firm Metals Acquisition Corp
 MTAL.N  up as much as 3.42% at $9.99 premarket 
    ** Co on Thursday emerged as winner of race to acquire
Glencore's  GLEN.L  CSA copper mine in Australia with $1.1 bln
deal, after years of interest from several suitors  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL3N2VK2P3
    ** Co will pay most of deal value in cash and hand $50 mln
worth of its shares to Glencore. GLEN will also receive
royalties beyond purchase price
    ** Co plans to fund deal with the $250 mln it raised in its
IPO and debt, among others
