** Shares of steel pipes and tubes maker Maharashtra
Seamless  MHSM.NS  rise nearly 3% to 401.80 rupees, highest
level in almost six months
    ** Stock on course to extend gains for the seventh session
in a row on Wednesday, if gains hold; up nearly 5% over the
period
    ** Stock most active in over a month since March 9
    ** Trading volume at 2.33 mln shares as of 2:22 p.m. IST,
more than six times the 30-day avg of 351,438 shares
    ** Stock's relative strength index at 75, suggesting it may
be overbought
