NZ's Mainfreight eyes best day in nearly 5 mths on upbeat FY earnings, dividend

** Shares of Mainfreight Ltd  MFT.NZ  up as much as 3% to
NZ$75.18, their biggest intraday pct gain since Dec. 30, 2020
    ** Logistics provider posts 27.2% rise in FY profit before
tax to NZ$262.41 mln ($189.54 mln)  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nNZW4TVSNX
    ** Says revenue for year also up 14.5% to NZ$3.54 bln,
helped by improved sales growth from strong consumer demand
    ** MFT approves a fully imputed final dividend of 45.0 cents
per share 
    ** Stock hits its highest levels since May 14
    ** MFT is the biggest percentage gainer on the benchmark
S&P/NZX 50  .NZ50 
    ** Stock up 5% this year, as of last close, compared with a
5.7% decline in the NZ50 index
