Dividend Payment
 
Following the Company's Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 8 August 2018, Majestic Wine PLC announces the planned payment of a second interim dividend of 5.2p per share, a 44.4% increase compared to the equivalent final dividend paid in 2017.
 
As previously announced, the total dividend paid by the Company for 2018 will therefore be 7.2p per share, an increase of 41.1% compared to 2017.
 
The second interim payout will replace the final dividend of 5.2p per share which was due to be ratified at yesterday's Annual General Meeting but was absent from the agenda due to a clerical error.
 
The payment date of the second interim dividend will be 15 August 2018, the same date as the originally proposed final dividend meaning all dividend payment dates and amounts remain unchanged.
