Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of its US$100 million share repurchase programme announced on 12 April 2018.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.  Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 26,555,762 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,583,586,551 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: This figure takes into account the transfer from treasury of 172,788 ordinary shares on 1 October 2018 in order to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Scheme).
 
Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 36,510,055 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 177.7660 pence per share.
 
All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
