Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of its US$100 million share buyback programme announced on 18 September 2020.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 74,158,450 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,467,636,320 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). 
 
As a result of the transaction disclosed above, the Company announces in accordance with DTR 5.5.1R that the percentage of shares it will hold in treasury following the settlement of the above transaction is 5.0252% of the ordinary shares with voting rights (based on 1,475,728,016 shares with voting rights (excluding treasury shares) as announced on 1 October 2020).
 
Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 11,248,123 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 116.8072 pence per share.
 
All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
