** MUTT set for best day since June 15
** Gold prices jumped to a 2-month high after U.S. Treasury's surprise liquidity-support announcement, pushing bond yields and dollar lower
** Spot gold slipped 0.6% by 0331 GMT as investors book profits GOL/
** MNFL and MUTT derive the majority of their revenue from gold loans
** YTD, MNFL up 12.4% and MUTT down 22.1%
