U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday, as bank shares gained on growing bets of aggressive
interest rate increases by the Federal Reserve and sportswear maker Nike climbed
after upbeat quarterly results.  .N 
    At 11:44 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.57% at
34,751.62. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.12% at 4,511.06 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 2.02% at 14,118.662.
