Spanish insurer Mapfre's first half net profit soars 65% from same period in 2023

July 26 (Reuters) - Spanish insurer Mapfre  MAP.MC  said
on Friday its first-half net profit rose 65% from the same
period a year ago.
    Net profit for the January to June period jumped to 494
million euros ($536.24 million) up from 300 million euros a year
earlier.
    ($1 = 0.9212 euros)
