U.S. stock index futures slipped on Wednesday as geopolitical tensions in the
Middle East and a domestic port strike kept investors on edge ahead of data
expected to shed light on the health of the economy and the monetary policy
trajectory.  .N 
    
    At 7:41 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.29% at 42,355. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.13% at 5,752.5, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.01% at 19,972.25.
