Chair Succession
Marks Electrical Group plc ("Marks Electrical", "the Company" or "the Group"),
the online electrical retailer, announces that Marnie Millard, Chair, has
informed the Board of her decision to step down from the Board on 31 December
2025. As part of the Group's ongoing succession planning, the Board is pleased
to announce that Darren Bowkett has been appointed Marnie's successor and will
assume the role of Chair and join the Board on 2 January 2026.
Marnie joined Marks Electrical as Chair in 2021 as part of the IPO and has
been an integral part of the Board, helping support the transition from a
successful family-owned business into a publicly traded company.
Darren Bowkett has worked for Ibstock Group plc for over 40 years and during
this time has developed significant operational and practical expertise.
Darren is currently Strategic Projects Director at Ibstock Brick and over the
last 12 years has had several Director roles in the Ibstock Group including
responsibility for running some of its key businesses.
As announced on 12 November in the Company's interim results, the Company
confirms that Alyson Fadil has now left the Board.

Marnie Millard, Chair of Marks Electrical commented:

2021, supporting the business as we transitioned from a successful
family-owned business to a publicly traded company. After over four years in
the role, it is now the right time for me to hand over the role to Darren, who
will oversee the next phase of the business' progress."
