Marston's reports higher sales driven by Christmas rush
Jan 21 (Reuters) - Britain's Marston's MARS.L on
Tuesday reported a 3% jump in sales for the 16-week period to
Jan. 18, boosted by a Christmas season rush into pubs for food
and drinks.
The Wolverhampton-based group said like-for-like sales for
the period were up 2% from the prior year period, with an 11.1%
rise during the key festive days.
