Appointment of Avril Palmer-Baunack as MAC Alpha Chairman

 

The Company notes today's announcement by MAC Alpha Limited regarding the
appointment of Avril Palmer-Baunack as Chairman. Avril brings a wealth of
experience from executive and non-executive leadership roles in the
automotive, support services, engineering and insurance services sectors.

Avril previously partnered with Marwyn to acquire BCA Marketplace plc in 2015,
going on to complete a number of bolt-on acquisitions, with the company
becoming a FTSE-250 constituent before being acquired by TDR Capital for
£1.9bn in 2019. Avril remained with the company under TDR's ownership,
becoming Executive Chairman of Constellation Automotive Group, including BCA,
We Buy Any Car, Cinch and Marshall Motor Group.
