** Shares of Matsa Resources  MAT.AX  rise as much as 17.5%
to A$0.047, set for their best day since Feb 16, if gains hold 
    ** The gold explorer says it has been able to recover
lithium from Manta's project in western Thailand
    ** Adds that there are discussions regarding potential
ongoing arrangements and cooperative exploration of its Thailand
lithium project
    ** Shares hit highest since Feb 17 and rise for a third
straight session 
    ** Stock up 8.1% this year, as of last close
