Private equity Pollen Street bets on UK wealth management with Mattioli deal

March 8 (Reuters) - British private equity investor
Pollen Street Capital has agreed to buy wealth manager Mattioli
Woods MTWL.L for about 432 million pounds ($553.18 million) on
Friday, betting on the UK's wealth management market.
The deal, which valued Mattioli at about 804 pence a share
in cash, represents a premium of 34% to the London-listed firm's
closing price on Thursday.
