** Childcare services provider says deal to divest 10 centres in Queensland and in Victoria to Steps Learning Pty Ltd has been terminated

** Following re-assessment of the proposed divestment, determined this is no longer the most value-accretive path - Mayfield Childcare

** Stock marks biggest intraday percentage gain since September 23

** Stock down 28.6% this year, including the day's move
