** Shares of Mayfield Group Holdings MYG.AX rise as much as 5.8% to A$1.55, their highest level since September 1

** Stock marks its biggest intraday pct gain rise since September 23

** The electrical and telecom equipment provider gets a A$20 million ($13.23 million) contract for Brigalow Gas Peaking Plant in Queensland from GE Power Australia Pty Ltd

** Contract for engineering, designing, manufacturing, factory test, delivering  prefabricated Balance of Plant electrical modules for the plant

** About 2.2 million shares change hands, 2.1 times the 30-day avg

** Stock up 108% YTD, including the session's moves
