Nov 12 (Reuters) - Mayr Melnhof Karton AG  MMKV.VI : 
    * 9-month sales totaled 1,617.8 million euros ($1.74 billion) and were thus 3.0 pct or 46.8 
million euros above previous year's figure (1-3Q 2014: 1,571.0 million euros) 
    * 9-month profit before tax increased by 11.6 pct to 146.8 million euros after 131.5 million 
euros in first three quarters of previous year 
    * 9-month profit went up by 11.0 pct to 108.2 million euros (1-3Q 2014: 97.5 million euros) 
    * Order intake from cartonboard market is currently much more restrained, order backlog has 
noticeably come down 
    * Expectations for Q4 and 2015 as a whole remain intact 
    * Earnings performance is, however, expected to continue on a good level also in Q4 of 2015 
    * There is no sign of relief in prices for recovered paper, which significantly increased 
some months ago 
    * Q3 profit for period amounted to 41.0 million euros (2Q 2015: 31.7 million euros; 3Q 2014: 
36.5 million euros)
