Brief: Mayr Melnhof Karton FY sales up 4.5 pct at 2.18 bln EUR

March 15 (Reuters) - Mayr Melnhof Karton AG  MMKV.VI : 
    * FY consolidated sales 2,181.5 million euros ($2.42 billion) and were thus 4.5 percent or 
94.1 million euros above the previous year's amount (2014: 2,087.4 million euros) 
    * In FY at 199.9 million euros, operating profit was 10.9 percent or 19.7 million euros 
above the previous year (2014: 180.2 million euros)  
    * Profit for the year thus rose by 8.0 percent to 142.1 million euros (2014: 131.6 million 
euros) 
    * To distribute a dividend of 1.20 euro per share 
    * Says as a result of the short-term nature of the business, currently not possible to 
provide a forecast for the result of the current year 
    * Replacement of the power station at Frohnleiten Mill in Austria by new gas and 
steam-turbine plant will be initiated as special investment project in 2016, costs will amount 
to approx. 40 million euros
