** Shares of metal component maker  MEC.N  down as much as
1.66% at $9.21 
    ** Co on Thursday said CEO Robert Kamphuis would step down
from his role on Sept 30  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nBw6Ddc5na
    ** Kamphuis joined MEC as CEO in 2005 and became chairman in
2007; he also helped the company complete four acquisitions
including Center Manufacturing in 2012
    ** Search for new CEO will be conducted through an executive
search firm - MEC
    ** Stock down ~38% YTD, as of last close
