GDANSK, Poland, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Commerzbank's CBKG.DE Polish unit mBank MBK.WA reported a 5.6% rise in its fourth-quarter profit on Tuesday, helped by falling costs of legal risk related to foreign currency loans and despite lower net interest income following rate cuts by Poland’s central bank.
Its net profit was 1.04 billion zlotys ($294.4 million) in the quarter, compared with a 986 million zlotys a year earlier. That exceeded analysts' median forecast for a profit of 978 million zlotys in a Reuters poll.
