ARMS
There are ongoing talks regarding the purchase of another
batch of South Korean K2 tanks, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
The cost of adapting these tanks to the Polish version (K2PL) is
estimated in the billions of zlotys, according to the newspaper.
DEFENCE
Poland, Germany, France, Spain and Italy want European bonds
to finance defence - such a declaration was made in Warsaw by
the foreign ministers of these countries, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna
reported. This is a signal of the unity of the European Union in
increasing investments in security, the newspaper said.
ENERGY PRICES
The Polish government's decision to freeze energy prices in
2025 will not only impact public finances but also inflation
next year, Puls Biznesu daily reported. However, according to
the newspaper economists suggest that Poland will still need to
wait before there are interest rate cuts.
STOCK EXCHANGE
The initial public offering of Croatian company Studenac,
which the Enterprise Investors fund wants to list on the stock
exchanges in Warsaw and Zagreb, is to be worth almost 800
million zlotys ($195.52 million), Puls Biznesu reported.
