Corrects typographical error in headline
May 7 (Reuters) - Westlife Foodworld WEST.NS, which operates McDonald's MCD.N restaurants in west and south India, reported a 56% rise in fourth-quarter profit on Thursday on steady demand for discounted meals.
The company's consolidated net profit rose to 23.8 million Indian rupees ($252,513.20) for the quarter ended March 31 from 15.2 million rupees a year earlier.
