** Dye & Durham Corp DND.TO said its board rejected an
"invalid" proposal by OneMove Capital to remove its long-time
nominee, Edward Prittie, as a director at a special shareholder
meeting on Aug. 20.
** MDA Space MDA.TO said that CFO Vito Culmone is stepping
down after more than three years in the role and is searching
for a replacement.
** Canadian corporate debt deals totalled C$35.1-billion
between April and June, financial data service Refinitiv said in
a report, nearly doubling the C$17.9-billion borrowed during the
same period in 2023.
