CROs rise after IQVIA's upbeat results

** Shares of IQVIA Holdings  IQV.N  rise 4.4% to $225 in
afternoon trade, after contract research firm beats Q2 results
estimates on strong demand for its drug development services

    ** IQV during its conference call said it has not seen any
rise in cancellations or delays in clinical trial work from a
slowdown in biotech funding
    ** Shares of other contract research organizations Medpace
Holdings  MEDP.O , Icon Plc  ICLR.O , Charles River Laboratories
 CRL.N , Syneos Health  SYNH.O  rise between 3% and 5% 
    ** Shares of Thermo Fisher Scientific  TMO.N  and Avantor
Inc  AVTR.N , which also provide clinical trial services, both
up about 6%
    ** IQV had fallen nearly 22% YTD, up to last close
