** Sub-index on track for its strongest session since October 24, if current trend persists

** Wall Street peer Nasdaq .IXIC closed 0.6% higher on Friday following upbeat Amazon AMZN.O earnings .N

** Sector constituents Megaport MP1.AX up nearly 6%, Life360 Inc 360.AX rises 2.2% and Xero XRO.AX adds 1.3%

** YTD, AXIJ down 1.1% including moves in current session
