** Australian technology stocks .AXIJ rise as much as 1.6% to 2711.500, their highest levels since February 24

** Gains were in tandem with an overnight jump in S&P 500 and Nasdaq indexes on soft inflation data and trade optimism .N

** ASX-listed shares of Life360 360.AX LIF.O are the biggest percent gainers on the local benchmark .AXJO, jumping as much as 13% to a record high of A$30.7

** Co extends gains on strong Q1 results

** Megaport MP1.AX and WiseTech Global WTC.AX up 0.9% and 0.7%, respectively

** YTD, sub-index down 1.6%
