Melbana Energy at 2-week high on hitting oil at Cuba well

** Shares of ASX-listed Melbana Energy MAY.AX rise as much
as 10.3% to A$0.096, hitting their highest since June 21
** The oil and gas explorer says it confirms flowing oil at
its Alameda-2 well in Cuba as seen from production tests
** Says a production test in one area of the well saw oil
flow to surface unassisted
** Says there are still "multiple exciting intervals" to be
tested, with drilling continuing at Alameda-2
** Stock up 38.1% YTD, as of last close
