Germany's Merck to buy Bio-Techne for $73 per share June 25 (Reuters) - Merck KGaA MRCG.DE has agreed to acquire biotech firm Bio-Techne Corp TECH.O for $73 per share in cash, the German science and healthcare firm said in a statement on Thursday.
The offer price, representing a total enterprise value of around $11.3 billion, represents a 36% premium on Bio-Techne's one-month volume weighted average share price, Merck said.
