Merus climbs after positive interim data for cancer therapy combo

** U.S. listed shares of Netherlands-based Merus NV  MRUS.O 
jump 18.5% to $52.2 premarket
    ** Co says in interim data its experimental treatment,
petosemtamab, in combination with Merck's  MRK.N  Keytruda
showed a 60% response rate in reducing or clearing tumors in 10
patients with head and neck cancer
    ** Full data expected to be disclosed on May 28
    ** Brokerage BofA says initial trial results suggest
compelling efficacy and raises stock's price objective to $61
from $52
    ** As of last close, stock had risen 60.25% compared with a
1.1% increase in the Nasdaq biotech index  .NBI
