    ** Stocks among heaviest trading volumes across exchanges
    ** SPRT surges 61.1% after closing at a 17-yr-high on
Friday; ATER rises 48%, its highest pct gain in over a year
    ** ROOT shares were last up 15.6% at $7.38 after hitting a
high of $8.40 earlier in the session; MMAT soars 29% to $5.33
    ** Retail trading favourite AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc
 AMC.N  up 6.5% in heavy trading
