NeuroBo Pharma rises after applying for obesity drug trial

** Shares of NeuroBo Pharmaceuticals  NRBO.O  rise 3.6% to
$3.42 premarket
    ** Co says it has submitted an application to the U.S. FDA
to start human trials of its experimental obesity drug
    ** Preclinical data shows that NRBO's drug DA-1726 resulted
in superior weight loss in mice than semaglutide, the active
ingredient in Novo Nordisk's  NOVOb.CO  popular weight loss drug
Wegovy
    ** DA-1726 also showed similar weight reduction as compared
to tirzepatide, the active ingredient in Eli Lilly's  LLY.N 
Mounjaro and Zepbound in preclinical studies 
    ** Co expects first the dose in an early-stage human trial
in H1 2024 and data from the study to rollout in H1 2025
    ** Up to Wednesday's close, stock down 42.5% YTD
