Update re. Publication of Annual Report and Accounts

 

Metir plc (AIM: MET), the leading global provider of mobile and point-of-use
water and environmental testing technology, today provides an update on the
expected publication date of its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended
31 December 2024 (the "FY24 Accounts").

 

Whilst no unforeseen accounting issues have arisen, the audit of the Company's
FY24 Accounts has been further delayed due to the increased IFRS reporting
requirements associated with the incorporation of two new trading subsidiaries
and an international business operating in multiple currencies. As a result,
Metir will not publish its FY24 Accounts by close of business today, 4 July
2025. The Company expects to publish its FY24 Accounts early next week and by
no later than 11 July 2025. The Company's shares remain suspended from trading
on AIM, pending publication of the FY24 Accounts.

 

The Company confirms that trading in the first half of 2025 is significantly
stronger than recent prior periods, driven by robust sales of the
MicroTox® LX instruments, which are supporting a growing level of reagent
sales. Momentum in the business continues, and the Company expects to provide
a further update on half-year trading by the end of July.
