Notification of Transactions of Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities and Connected Persons
9 June 2016: In accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, Metro Bank PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") and their connected persons in ordinary shares of 0.0001 each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares"): 
On 9 June 2016, the Hill Family Foundation, of which Metro Bank PLC's Chairman Mr Vernon W. Hill, II is a trustee, transferred by way of gift 30,912 Shares to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA, for nil consideration. Following this transaction, the shareholding of Mr Vernon W. Hill, II and his connected persons has decreased to 4,719,499 Shares, representing 5.88% of the Company's issued share capital.
