India's MIC Electronics hits upper circuit on developing EV battery charger

** Shares of MIC Electronics  MELC.NS  up 9.9% to hit upper
circuit at 42.60 rupees
    ** Co says it has developed 42V/3A electric vehicle (EV)
battery charger for e-cycles and two-wheelers, commercial
operations to begin in March 
    ** Adds, it is also developing high power rating EV battery
chargers (models: 72V/6A & 72V/10A) for e-cycles and
two-wheelers
    ** Stock witnessing its most active trading session since
Oct. 12, with more than 2.4 mln shares changing hands by 1.40
p.m. IST, 5.2x of 30-day avg
    ** Stock rose ~148% in 2023 after falling ~40% in 2022
