European recruiters rally after upbeat Hays trading update

   ** Shares in European recruitment firms Randstad RAND.AS, Adecco ADEN.S, PageGroup PAGE.L climb after Hays HAYS.L said annual operating profit would be at the top end of market expectations in an earnings update on Friday
** Randstad and Adecco gain around 4% with PageGroup up around 5.4%
** Jefferies noted better-than-expected quarterly results at Hays were mainly driven by robust temporary staffing demand and stable activity in Germany
** Germany is an important market for headhunters, whose shares have slid to pre-pandemic levels as economic uncertainty and geopolitical shocks roil labour markets
** Randstad and Adecco are among the best five performers on the wider European STOXX 600 index .STOXX
