** Some U.S. chip stocks gain premarket after chipmaker Texas Instrument TXN.O forecasts second-quarter results above estimates on strong data center chip demand

** TXN jumps 10.9%

** Microchip Technology MCHP.O, Analog Devices ADI.O rise 4.8% each

** ON Semiconductor ON.O gains 4.5%, NXP Semiconductor NXPI.O ahead 3.7%

** iShares Semiconductor ETF SOXX.O up 0.6%
