The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq were on track to post their first two-day gain this
month on Wednesday, as Facebook  FB.O  led a slew of encouraging earnings
reports that boosted sentiment at the end of a tumultuous October for global
markets.  .N 
    At 10:05 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.15 percent at
25,160.15. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.37 percent at 2,719.29 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 2.25 percent at 7,322.948.
