The following factors could affect Italian markets on Monday.

    POLITICS
    The Chamber of Deputies has approved the 2021 budget, that
now moves on to the Senate for definitive approval this week.
Expansionary measures in the budget total around 40 billion
euros ($48.99 billion). They will be financed by 25 billion
euros of extra borrowing and 15 billion euros of grants from the
European Union's Recovery Fund designed to help nations hardest
hit by COVID-19.
    The budget assumes that Italy's gross domestic product will
rebound by 6% in 2021, following a contraction of 9% this year.
Italy's public debt, proportionally the highest in the euro zone
after that of Greece, is targeted to fall next year to 155.6%
GDP from 158% in 2020.
    
    COMPANIES
    MEDIASET  MS.MI 
    An Italian administrative court has annulled a watchdog
ruling capping French media giant Vivendi's stake in Mediaset, a
court document showed, in a blow to the Italian broadcaster run

    MEDIASET  MS.MI 
    U.S. - based wireless infrastructure group Phoenix Tower
International said on Thursday it had bought the telecoms mast
unit (TowerTel) of Italian communications tower company EI
Towers.
    As part of the agreement F2i SGR, one of EIT's shareholders,
will retain a minority ownership stake in TowerTel.  Financial
terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
   
    FIAT CHRYSLER  FCHA.MI 
    A U.S. regulator ruled on Wednesday that Mahindra and
Mahindra Ltd's new design for its Roxor off-road utility vehicle
did not infringe the intellectual property rights of Fiat
Chrysler Automobiles' Jeep brand, six months after barring the

    Eni said on Wednesday the board of its chemical unit
Versalis had appointed Adriano Alfani as the company’s new Chief
Executive Officer starting from the 1st January 2021.

    Cattolica Assicurazioni will sell to UBI Banca its stake in

    Morgan Stanley has more than 5% of OVS voting rights, the

    In a joint statement on Wednesday the companies said they
would transfer their advertising business into a jointly owned

    Trades ex-dividend of 0.07 euro per share.
