Nov 28 (Reuters) - British pub and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butlers MAB.L beat annual profit expectations on Friday, helped by robust demand for food and drinks and tighter cost control. The company posted an adjusted pretax profit of 246 million pounds ($325.06 million) for the 52 weeks ended September 27, while analysts were expecting 237.54 million pounds, according to LSEG data.
