Japan's Dowa expects H1 copper output to fall 45% on year

TOKYO, April 3 (Reuters) - Japan's Dowa Holdings Co Ltd
 5714.T  expects to produce 17,806 tonnes of refined copper in
the first half of the 2023/24 financial year, it said on Monday,
down 44.8% from a year earlier.
    The first half runs from April to September.
        The sharp fall comes as Dowa sold its stake in the
Onahama Smelting and Refining copper joint venture to Mitsubishi
Materials Corp  5711.T  in March.
    Following are output plan details, with comparisons against
planned production in the second half and actual output in the
first half of the 2022/23 financial year, which ended on March
31.
