TOKYO, April 3 (Reuters) - Japanese smelter Furukawa Co
Ltd 5715.T plans to produce 25,170 tonnes of refined copper in
the first half of the 2023/24 financial year, down 27.6% from
the same period a year earlier, it said on Monday.
The country's first half falls between April and September.
The drop comes as Furukawa sold its stake in the Onahama
Smelting and Refining copper joint venture to Mitsubishi
Materials Corp 5711.T in March.
Following are details of Furukawa's output plan, with
comparisons against estimate production in the second half and
actual production in the first half of the 2022/23 financial
year, which ended on March 31.
