TOKYO, April 1 (Reuters) - Japanese copper smelter Mitsubishi Materials 5711.T plans to produce 213,540 metric tons of refined copper in the first half of the 2025/26 financial year, it said on Tuesday, nearly unchanged from the same period a year earlier.
The country's first half runs from April to September.
The company has no planned maintenance at its copper smelters in Naoshima in western Japan and Onahama in eastern Japan for the current year.
Below are the details of the company's output plan, with comparisons against planned production for the second half and actual production for the first half of the 2024/25 financial year, which ended on March 31.
