Export Summary-Egypt buys Russian wheat, Japan seeks feed wheat

July 17 (Reuters) - The following is a snapshot of global
export markets for grains, oilseeds and edible oils as reported
by government and private sources as of the close of business on
Wednesday:
    
    WHEAT SALE:  Egypt's state grain buyer, the General
Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said it bought 60,000

    WHEAT TENDER: Japan's Ministry of Agriculture sought to buy
51,821 tonnes of food-quality wheat from Canada and Australia in

    NO OFFERS IN WHEAT, BARLEY TENDER: Japan's Ministry of
Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) said it received no
offers for feed-quality wheat or barley in a simultaneous buy

    PENDING TENDERS: 
 
    WHEAT TENDER: Syria's state grains agency issued an
international tender to purchase and import 200,000 tonnes of
milling wheat to be sourced from Russia only, European traders
said. Deadline in the tender from Syria's General Establishment
for Cereal Processing and Trade (Hoboob) is July 8, traders

    CORN TENDER POSTPONED: Indian state-run trading company MMTC
 MMTC.NS  postponed the deadline for offer submissions in an
international tender to import yellow corn to July 11, European

    WHEAT TENDER: The Taiwan Flour Millers' Association has
issued an international tender to purchase 90,650 tonnes of
grade 1 milling wheat to be sourced from the United States,
European traders said. The tender deadline is July 23.
