July 16 (Reuters) - The following is a snapshot of global
export markets for grains, oilseeds and edible oils as reported
by government and private sources as of the close of business on
Tuesday:
    
    WHEAT SALE: South Korean flour mill SPC purchased about
30,000 tonnes of wheat to be sourced from the United States and
Canada in a tender which closed on Tuesday, European traders

    WHEAT TENDER: Egypt's General Authority for Supply
Commodities (GASC) set a tender on Tuesday to buy an unspecified
amount of wheat from global suppliers for shipment from Aug. 21
to 31. Tenders should reach GASC by noon (1000 GMT) on
Wednesday. The results should come out after 3:30 p.m. (1330

    WHEAT TENDER: The Taiwan Flour Millers' Association has
issued an international tender to purchase 90,650 tonnes of
grade 1 milling wheat to be sourced from the United States,
European traders said. The tender deadline is July 23.

    FAILED WHEAT TENDER: Jordan's state grain buyer the trade
ministry has made no purchase in an international tender to buy
120,000 tonnes of milling wheat which closed on Tuesday, traders

    PENDING TENDERS: 
 
    WHEAT TENDER: Syria's state grains agency issued an
international tender to purchase and import 200,000 tonnes of
milling wheat to be sourced from Russia only, European traders
said. Deadline in the tender from Syria's General Establishment
for Cereal Processing and Trade (Hoboob) is July 8, traders

    CORN TENDER POSTPONED: Indian state-run trading company MMTC
 MMTC.NS  postponed the deadline for offer submissions in an
international tender to import yellow corn to July 11, European

    WHEAT TENDER: Jordan's state grain buyer, the trade
ministry, issued an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes
of milling wheat, which can be sourced from optional origins,
