Mobileye rises on driver monitoring system deal with US automaker

** Shares of self-driving tech company Mobileye Global MBLY.O rise 6.2% to $8.1 premarket

** Mobileye said a leading U.S. automaker will integrate the Mobileye Driver Monitoring System (Mobileye DMS) into future vehicles equipped with Mobileye's EyeQ6L system-on-chip, with start of production targeted for 2027

** Co says new win expands the scope and feature set of an existing advanced drive assistance program and is expected to span millions of vehicles across multiple models and model years

** Up to last close, stock had fallen 27% this year
